(the “Company”) (Nasdaq: ALLK), a biotechnology company developing AK002 for the treatment of eosinophil and mast cell related diseases, today announced it intends to offer and sell, subject to market and other conditions, $200 million of shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. In addition, Allakos expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to $30 million of additional shares of the Company’s common stock. All of the shares in the proposed offering will be sold by the Company.
